Baby Bumblebee...

I've just got to tell you about something that happened today that I would do anything for a picture of......
We spent most of the morning outside today. At one point Tommy and Nadia and Anna were running through the flower garden playing tag while we were watching from a distance. Tommy stopped and began carefully observing a flower. He then plucked something from the flower, turned and smiled at Suzy, and began walking to her saying "Mama!" When he got to his Mama he looked up at her, and with a proud smiling face held out his gift.............in his chubby little fingers he was holding, by its wings, a big fat bumble bee! Papa proceeded to nearly drop the camcorder while Mama frantically tried to get the interpreter's attention and ask her how do you say in Russian "drop the bee before it stings you" !?!?
Can you invision this with me? Everyone, together sing ....."I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee ... Won't my Mama be so proud of me!....."

While outside we noticed the orphanage vegetable garden. The children were happy to show it to us. In fact when we got to it they each plucked out carrots and began munching on them. They then began chomping the huge radishes.... and happily snacked on green onions! Yes, green onions. They laughed and laughed that the mamas and the papas did not want to eat the green onions, too. Silly American mamas and papas!

Tommy sharing his juice with his friend Nadia.

Pakka !
